Setting Up Your CommerceStreet.com E-mail Account in Outlook 2007

1.

From Microsoft Outlook 2007 main menu, select "Tools"

From the drop down menu select "Account Settings"

This opens the "Account Settings" window.

Select the "E-mail" tab and click the "New" button

2. The "Choose E-mail Service" window opens

Select "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP" and click "Next"

 

 

3. The "Auto Account Setup" window opens

Check "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click "Next"

4. The "Choose E-mail Service" window opens.

Select "Internet E-mail" and click "Next"

5. The "Internet E-mail Settings wind opens.

Under "User Information", enter your name and e-mail address. This is the name and email address people see when they receive an e-mail from you, it can be whatever you want.

Under "Server Information" select "POP3" and enter your mail server information. Your inbound and outbound mail servers at CommerceStreet.com are the same, and are mail.YourDomainName.com. Mail server names are not case sensitive.

Under "Logon Information", enter your full email address and password.

If you do not check "Remember password", you will be prompted for your password each time you send and receive e-mail.

Do not check "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"

Click "More Settings"

 

6. Click the Outgoing Server tab

Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

7. Click the "Advanced Tab"

Under "Server Port Numbers"

  • change the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" port to 2525

Under "Delivery":

  • Check "Leave a copy of messages on the server,
  • Check "Remove from server after"
  • Select "10 days"

Click the "OK" button

 

8. Click the "Test Account Settings" button.

If your account is setup correctly you will get a window with two check marks, otherwise you will get a window with error messages.

If you get error messages, check the account information you entered. If you continue to get error messages after checking you account information, please call technical support.

Click the "Close" button.

 

9. Click the "Next" button

Click "Finish"

 

 

Outlook is now setup to send and receive e-mail through your email account.
